ABOUT - VERTEX POLYMERS

VERTEX POLYMERS is a partnership firm and was stared in March 2003 with an annual capacity of 96 tons. In 7 years the company has increased it by 5 times to approximate 480 tons annually. The factory/ production unit is strategically located in the Union Teritory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli which is approximately only 125 kms north from MUMBAI, the commercial capital of INDIA. From here the PET Preforms are supplied all over INDIA. The Correspondance Office is in KANDIVLI (W), MUMBAI. Currently VERTEX POLYMERS supplies PET Preforms to various industries which includes:

  • CARBONATED SOFT DRINKS (CSD)
  • FRUIT JUICE (HOT FILL AND COLD FILL),
  • CONFECTIONARY
  • EDIBLE OIL
  • MINERAL WATER
  • CHEMICALS
  • PICKLES, etc.

    Right from begining the company has given importance to BUSINESS ETHICS AND VALUES, FULFILLING COMMITTMENTS AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS.






    HISTORY

    In middle and late 1950's a hard working Man with a Vision, Shri Bhikhalal G. Padia started "Blue Band Products". He was one of the Pioneers in moulding Bangles and other Plastic Novelties. He converted his efforts into Success through out the sixties and seventies by supplying good quality items not only in India but also outside India. The "Blue Band Products" and Late Shri Bhikhalal Padia are considered one of the most respected entities in the Plasitc industry even Today.

    In late seventies Shri Suresh Padia, one the sons of Shri Bhikhalal Padia entered his father's family business and continued the good work along with his brothers. Thus came into existence "Bhavna Plastics". Bhavna Plastics focused in supplying High Quality Plastics Packaging to various Companies (mostly MNCs) including Pharma, Cosmetics, FMCG etc.

    In 1997 the family saw growing opportunites in the packaging concept which was relatively new in India, called "PET". Since then they have never looked back and continued to excel in this field of manufacturing PET Preforms with the birth of "VERTEX POLYMERS" in the year 2003. Shri Vinay Padia, son of Shri Suresh Padia is with "VERTEX POLYMERS" right from its inception and looking after day to day activities of the company.

    PEOPLE

  • Shri Suresh B Padia: Studied for his Dip. Mechanical Engineering at the famous Bhagubhai Polytechnic, Mumbai. He is the guiding force / back bone of VERTEX POLYMERS. Shri Suresh B Padia has approx 30 years experience in plastics manufacturing and was instrumental in developing and producing articles for various industries (PHARMA, COSMETICS, F&B, etc) in different types of plastics (PP, PET, NYLON, DERLYIN, HDPE, etc)

    From 1977 he is into manufacturing and supply of plastic articles to various Multi National and Indian Ltd. Companies. Since 1997, he is associated with the production of PET Preforms.

    Shri Suresh Padia has a very simple approach to life as well as business which is why there is an immense faith among the customers as well as associates towards him.

  • Shri Vinay Suresh Padia: In 2003, completed his BMS (Bachelors in Management Studies) from the Prestigious Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai. Since then, he is into this family business of Plastics /Pet Preforms. This same year marks the birth of VERTEX POLYMERS.

    Shri Vinay Suresh Padia is looking after the Sales/Business Development, Accounts/ Finance, New product development as well as day to day affairs of the firm. In last 10 years or so he has gained business from local as well as export market.
